The course is designed for graduating teachers preparing Grades 10 and 11 students for CXC English B examinations as a direct response to the need to raise the levels of competence required for successful delivery of the CXC programme. While the course is for the selective group, its theoretical and pedagogical principles are particularly useful for teachers preparing students for the Grade 12 and 13 (CAPE) literature programme.
