This course provides an opportunity for students to identify, analyse and effectively address social problems within the Caribbean. Presentations will delve into specific issues such as: Understanding Social Problems, Crime and Violence, Poverty and Inequality, Unemployment, Child Welfare and Protection, Mental Health, Homelessness, Healthcare, and Ageing. The course will also explore existing policy and programme responses to these social problems.
