Welcome to Latin American Cinema! In this course we will watch a series of films from and about Latin America that belong to the New Latin American Cinema movement and we will analyze their influences, techniques, themes, etc. We will unpack the theory of Third Cinema and influences of Neorealism in our exploration of the history, politics, society and culture in Latin America.
