This course introduces the basic foundational concepts in data analysis. The student will be provided with hands on experience applying several techniques and implementing algorithms to access, transform and analyze data to provide for better understanding of underlying trends. The course will primarily focus on analysis of relatively small datasets, however, issues and concepts related to Big-Data will be discussed.
