This is a new course at the Department of Physics and open to the Mona Campus with the prerequisite of PHYS2701. Building on 2701, the Lecture material will explore the main renewable energy systems in further detail, giving a more in-depth analysis of their resource assessment, implementation, cost-benefits, and economic appeal. The Caribbean will be of particular focus within the course, with Tutorials focusing on specific case-studies and leaders in the region.
