Caribbean Media, Communication and Society seeks to develop a broad knowledge and understanding of Media and Communication systems in the Caribbean through identifying and analysing some of the major national, regional and global factors affecting the structure, function and impact of media and  communication on Caribbean society. It seeks  to develop our knowledge of the inter-relationship of media, communication and culture in the Caribbean, particularly with respect to media influences on culture. The course seeks to generate a body of research material on media, communication, and culture in the Caribbean.
