Introduction to Political Institutions and Analysis is a Level One course in the Faculty of Social Sciences. It is a three-credit, one Semester course that serves to introduce students to the main concepts in the discipline of political science by critically examining important issues such as power, representation, political culture, socialization, party systems, governance etc. It is deliberately global in its outlook with an emphasis on the Anglophone Caribbean countries as the lens through which we interpret contemporary trends and events and their consequences for political systems
