Our Virtual Learning Environment

During this course students would learn the basics of haematopoiesis including the requirements for haemoglobin production in terms of dietary requirements and enzymes, structural features and haemoglobin required to maintain the integrity of the red cells. In addition the normal process to stop bleeding and some information on the role of blood product transfusion will also be discussed in order to understand these processes and the impact they may have in disease states.
