Our Virtual Learning Environment

This is a year-long course completed over 2 semesters and made up of two sections, Basic Skills and Movement, and includes both laboratory and lecture sessions.

Therapeutics 1(A) - done in Semester 1

This section will consist of the following topics representing foundation skills: Massage, taking and recording of pulse and respiration, sensory testing, manual muscle testing, goniometry, medical terminology, transfers, normal and pathological gaits, and bandaging.

Therapeutics 1(B) - done in Semester 2

This section of the course will focus on the acquisition and use of documentation skills, and the fundamentals of exercise and movement.
