Financial Economics I (EC75A) is the first in a two part sequence which is completed by Financial Economics II (EC75B). Together, these two courses comprise the field in Financial Economics at the graduate level. EC75A investigates the theory, methods and mechanics of financial markets, and financial market instruments and vehicles. Some of the topics covered include the pricing of Options, Futures and Forward contracts, as well as other Derivatives.

This course is the second of two in the Microeconomic Theory sequence at the graduate level. In continuation of the materials that you learnt in Microeconomic Theory I, Microeconomic Theory II will emphasize on market structure, market failure, asymmetric information and social choice. The course will challenge you to apply your understanding of microeconomic theory to analyze every day economic problems in your immediate environment.
