Research Methods for Human Resource Development Practitioners

This course provides participants with an understanding of the science of studying how research is done scientifically. The course content is a blend of quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods research. During the semester, participants will be exposed to different aspects of research to include research terminologies, citation styles, research ethics, the research process, review of relevant literature, research designs, research problem/issue, purpose statements, research questions and or hypotheses, research methods and techniques, instrumentation, types of analyses and research proposal.
