Communication Analysis and Planning 1 (CAP I) builds on the first year communication courses which seek to establish a working definition of communication and society and seeks to introduce students to the practical applications of communication as a tool in the development process. The course covers both the evolution of, and multiple perspectives on, development, development activities, and development communication from the modernization to the empowerment paradigms with emphasis on the
COMM2003 is a pre-requisite for the final year six-credit course COMM3199 and for which you need to obtain at least a B+ in this course. The course is also compulsory for all PR majors.
