The course is intended to apply the journalism skills that were taught in earlier courses to reporting news for television. It will introduce the student to television reporting skills, including the shooting of interviews and footage for news stories. The student will learn to edit, produce and present the news. Students will be introduced to professional best practices in television news, and will be encouraged to produce broadcast quality television journalism.
