In this Level 2 course, you will build on concepts learnt in LING1002 or LING1402. The course will take you through many of the fundamental concepts of syntax such as constituency, phrase structure rules, X-bar Theory, Binding, structural relations and Theta Theory. Our aim is to identify more efficient, economical ways to account for the structure of languages.
