2D Animation Production

This course is designed to expand upon the principles and techniques of animation established in ANIM1020 - Principles of 2D Animation. Focus will be placed on the various stages of production, allowing students to apply the principles of animation within the context and structure of a planned production. Students will be tasked with only one assignment, the creation of a 60 second animated short. This hands-on process will involve the students proposing a story idea and taking it from script to screen. They will create storyboards, characters, layouts, and animate the final short.
