Through a combination of theory and practice, the student will be exposed to a broad appreciation of human biology and its significance to the contemporary world; students gain deeper understanding of what it means to be human; issues facing the human population; the possible causes of abnormalities; and the consequences of human activity. The successful student will be equipped to pursue careers in the social or health services.
