This course is designed to guide students, through laboratory experience, instruction, and simulated activities in the practice of radiographic positioning, patient care, equipment manipulation and exposure techniques.Students will understand the verbal and non-verbal cues of the interaction between patients and healthcare providers, the physical and psychological preparation of patients , patient comfort and physical safety, radiation protection, privacy and age-specific need of patients.
