Communication & Special and Emerging Topics in MIS

This course instructs participants in the effective communication of their business ideas through the use of presentation tools such as PowerPoint or Prezi. Today's highly competitive business arena demands effective communication for successful survival and growth. Modern business practices utilize a high volume of business presentations to convey information and sell ideas. Accordingly, research in different arenas has reinforced the high priority that is given to communication skills in employees and potential employees, thus establishing the need for instruction in this arena to ensure an engaging and responsive communication style, and consequently, an effective presentation.
