The development of this course is in recognition of the need for new initiatives to improve teaching at the CXC level. It is designed to provide student teachers with the specific knowledge and skills to successfully teach a CXC programme in the high school and to assist them to acquire mastery of problematic structures as well as the language skills specified by the CXC syllabus. The course will link the language they learn with pedagogical methods.
