Enrolment options

This course is a postgraduate-level introduction to the implementation of database management
systems (DBMS). It falls between an undergraduate introductory database course and a graduate
advanced database course. As a result, the course aims to introduce students to the basics of database
management systems while introducing more advanced concepts such as Physical Database Design.
This course also aims to give students practical experience in designing and manipulating database
driven application using current database design techniques.
